My path to this work has been a personal and gradual unfolding. As a teenager, I experienced an abundance of GI and hormone issues, and learned early on that a “normal” diagnosis and bandaid prescription is rarely enough to ease discomfort.

It was through a sincere curiosity for alternative practices and a fascination with intuition that I began to understand the extent of my health issues. Slowly, I became versed in the language of my body, and started listening to the story it was telling me through my symptoms. With careful observation, intentional changes, and a “food is medicine” philosophy, I cultivated both resilience and harmony in my body.

This journey led me to study nutrition and functional medicine, where I gained a deeper understanding of the body’s innate intelligence and developed a passion for women’s health. I’ve since realized how often women’s needs and choices are overlooked in healthcare, particularly regarding fertility, pregnancy and labor. This inspired me to become a doula and honor the way a woman’s body is perfectly designed to birth when she is given the space, respect, and support to do so.

I currently offer birth doula services to clients in the Austin, Texas area, and virtual nutrition support to clients all over.
